Treatment Facilities MEI operates a non-hazardous 60,000 square foot treatment and processing facility. This facility focuses on bio-solid and residual wastes. We process and treat sludge and liquids from industrial and municipal waste generators. The facility has two 50 cubic yard mix pits with the capability to solidify 240 tons of material per day. We can process 100,000 gallons of liquids per day. We process and recycle used oils and coolants in our oil handling operation. As a treatment facility, we take title to the waste upon receipt. The facility operates under an operating permit issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection with strict waste acceptance protocols. WE can accept waste on a 16 hour a day basis drummed or in bulk quantities. Waste streams are approved for disposal using a profile system. The profiles are approved the same day as received.
