Emergency Spill Response
24 Hours A Day / 7 Days A Week

When an emergency strikes, you need help right away.  That’s why MEI is available 24 hours a day, seven day a week.  On water or land, by highway or rail, MEI has the specialized equipment to clean up any accident, no matter how volatile.

The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Council (PEMA) certifies MEI as a Hazardous Material Emergency Responder under Pennsylvania Act 1990-165 to respond to accidental releases of hazardous materials in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  This certification is only held by seven private entities in the state.  The United States Coast Guard has certified MEI as a Level E Oil Spill Response Organization (OSRO).  This is the highest possible certification for river and canal type responses.  We are active members of the Three Rivers Pollution Response Council.

Various types of Commercial & Industrial facilities utilize MEI to respond to a wide variety of emergencies.  These emergencies range from chemical, fuel and residual wastes releases to support of plant operation challenges with equipment.  Customers depend on us to be there when they need us.

For highway accidents and train derailments, MEI is ready.  Our experience, preparation and fast response time ensure a positive outcome in any situation.  And, with an impressive list of equipment including helicopters, excavators, wheel loaders and track highlifts, we’re equipped to handle your remediation and spill response needs in remote areas.
