Public Safety/Environmental AwarenessAs our world’s population increases, so does our awareness of industry and its effects on the environment. The two are inextricably linked; without industry, our modern civilization would not exist, but without a clean, healthful environment, we would not exist. MEI ‘s goal is to provide complete safety for the public and long-term protection for the environment in the handling, transportation, and disposal of hazardous, non-hazardous, industrial, and municipal waste materials. First and foremost, MEI is an environmental organization committed to the design and establishment of innovative waste solutions. We strive to maximize our clients’ advantages with high-tech, cost-effective ideas. Our experienced staff of consultants will help you manage your waste materials safely and properly. We offer waste characterization and analysis, profiling, lab packing, labeling, manifesting, and project scheduling, among other services. MEI contracts with recycling, treatment, incineration, and disposal facilities throughout the United States and Canada, all of which are properly licensed and approved by appropriate regulatory agencies. MEI maintains the highest level of Oil Spill Response Organization (OSRO) classification, Level E, by the United States Coast Guard. MEI ‘s shipping containers meet DOT/UN specifications, and many of MEI’s environmental consultants are OSHA 1910.120 certified.
